Practical Research On Cultivating Innovative Talents In Foreign Language

Foreign language creative talents refers to foreign language professionals with innovative thinking capacity. Cultivation of foreign language talents is a new requirement for society in foreign language teaching. The essence of developing foreign language innovative talents is to help students to obtain the ability to foreign languages.In this paper, the measures taken and the achievements scored during developing foreign language innovative talents in Qiqihar University are analyzed, and the existing problems are also summarized. Accordingly, the paper puts forward the solutions to the problems in four aspects:(1) to develop a teaching philosophy with cultivation of innovative foreign language talents as the core and focus on the cultivation of comprehensive qualities by the breakthrough of the limit of foreign language disciplines;(2) to reform the existing teaching content by interdisciplinary training mode;(3) to establish of practical talents training mode by diversify students’ practice activities; and(4) to improve the supporting system for teaching activities by scientific assessment of teacher’s work and students’ achievements.
