| “Huairen Ji Wang Sheng Jiao Xu” is not only the beginning of setting Wang’s words into the tablet inscription, but also the beginning of the running script in Chinese calligraphy carved stone.It played an important part in the spread of the Wang xizhi calligraphy style widely. The calligraphers after the Tang dynasty mostly succeeded studying Wang Xizhi calligraphy following this tablet inscription, which has a profound influence on the running script creations of Chinese calligraphy.This paper aims to analyse the effect of “Ji Wang Sheng Jiao Xu ”and expound its classicality, scalability, historicity. The paper analyses the representative calligraphers affected by “Ji Wang Sheng Jiao Xu ” in the history and points out its limitations. It objectively analyzes the present problems of calligraphers studying Wang Xizhi calligraphy.
