Along With the continuous development of in vitro-fertilization and embryo transfer technology, in order to preserve the high quality embryos which produced after fresh embryo transfer cycles, the frozen preservation technology came into being and developed rapidly. Human embryo cryopreservation technology has been widely used as a routine, essential technology of human assisted reproductive technology. The application of human embryo cryopreservation technology can reduce the occurrence of multiple pregnancies, increase the cumulative pregnancy rate of in vitro fertilization, and extend the fertility of infertile couples, but it also inevitably leads to a series of ethical problems while bringing the gospel to infertile couples. The article is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic, the definition of related concepts and overview of the research on the ethical issues related to human embryo freezing technology in domestic and international academic circles. In the second part, the ethical issues brought by the application of human embryo freezing technology are discussed from three aspects of individual ethics, family ethics and social ethics. The individual ethical aspect involves the "status" of the human embryo; Family ethics is the impact to traditional family concept and traditional "parent-child relationship"; Social ethics is mainly related to the commercial risks and ethics of remaining frozen embryos is facing. The third part discusses the reasons for the above ethical issues, analyze from the perspective of theoretical basis, it is mainly caused by the differences in the way of thinking, the values of conflict and the changes of life values; Analyze from the perspective of practice, it is mainly caused by the lack of professional ethics, the lack of awareness of the patient’s sense of responsibility, the lack of supervision of the ethics committee, and the imperfect of laws and regulations. The fourth part is the solution to these ethical problems. Mainly from the ethical and legal paths to solve, ethical and moral countermeasures include the following ethical principles of the implementation of human embryo cryopreservation technology, assisted reproductive technology ethics committee play the role of supervision mechanism and strengthen the moral education of the employees and the patients; Legal countermeasures include the definition of the legal status of human embryo and the construction of the system of the future embryo legislation in China. Therefore, in the development of human embryo cryopreservation techniques, at the same time, it is necessary to constantly improve the relevant ethical principles and code of ethics, give full play to the supervisory role of the ethics committee, enhance the sense of moral responsibility of scientific workers and medical workers, and formulate relevant laws and regulations to regulate people’s behavior.
