Johannes,Brahms(1833-1897), a famous German composer and pianist,enjoys a high reputation in the development history of German music and the world music culture. Piano instrumental creation is an important area of his creation, especially late Brahms article analyzed the author of this post four piano(op.116-119), is a composer after precipitation and early middle age composer technology to mature work.This paper will last four Brahms piano album(total 20), from the perspective of harmony analysis and research of these four works. Article has four parts.The first part of Brahms’ s life, their main features piano works and musical style and this paper is to analyze the four works this overview.The second part will describe the work op.116-119 song centralized use of acoustic techniques, including the use of chords, chord progression,harmonic texture, tone-up and other techniques were analyzed and discussed,for example.The third part of the work rhythm, sound, sound effects and other techniques discussed means of an example from the perspective of harmony.The final part summarizes the characteristics and artistic value op.116-119 these four works.In this paper, we hope that through the study of four sets of piano music in the late Brahms, to further understand the romantic composer’s creative techniques and artistic pursuit, many of which are worth learning and learning.
