Intercourse vexation is very common among junior school students in China. It can cause various harmful effects on the junior school students’study and life, even affects their sound personality, resulting in mental illness. The problem of intercourse vexation is particularly prominent in rural middle school because of the relatively blocked environment, less psychological support and the increasing number of left-behind children. It is quite necessary to find efficient intervention ways to solve the problem of intercourse vexation which can help to improve middle school students’mental health. The research is based on two rural middle school students in Zhucheng of Shandong Province, using cluster random sampling method and Interpersonal Comprehensive Diagnostic Scale to do a questionnaire survey on students of 15 classes from grade 1 to 3 of the junior middle school. From the valid questionnaires, the author can gain a better understanding of the intercourse vexation situation of rural school students. In line with the principle of free will. choosing 30 subjects randomly to accept group imago dialogue intervention from 40 subjects with severe interpersonal distress. Then conclude the imago rule of severe intercourse vexation. and formulate an intervention plan and detailed implementation scheme according to the rule. The research divides 30 subjects into two groups, intervention group and control group. Each group has 15 subjects. The intervention group would take 12 times of Imagery Communication Psychotherapy intervention for 12 weeks, once a week,60 minutes each time. At the same time, the control group accept group psychological counseling. After intervention, test intercourse vexation level of both groups again to prove the effects of group imago dialogue technique on intercourse vexation of rural middle school students. The research results are as follows:(1) The problem of intercourse vexation is common among rural middle school students. Mild intercourse vexation accounts for 62.5%. moderate intercourse vexation accounts for 29.2%. and the severe occupies 8.3%.(2) Differences exist in the level of intercourse vexation of rural middle school students(P<0.05). showing that the students of grade 2 have the highest level of intercourse vexation, then the grade 3 students, and the lowest are students of grade 1 of rural middle school.(3)Students from single-parent families and the left-behind students perform higher level of intercourse vexation in the four dimensions. Boys have higher intercourse vexation on the dimensions of manners of dealing with people and communicate with isomerism. While in the dimension of interpersonal communication, girls have higher intercourse vexation.(4) The imago characteristics of subjects with severe intercourse vexation are as follows:the first is apparent conflicts, manifesting the discord with isomerism and contradiction of parenthood. The second is apathy, lacking of vitality and patience. The third is lacking of confidence which refers to their own weak images, and unable to change the dilemma.(5) After intervening the intervention group, the scores of interpersonal relationship integrative diagnostic scale of all participants are decreased significantly. And in each dimension, the vexation lever after intervention is lower than before intervention. The differences are remarkable between before and after intervention (p<0.01).(6) There is no significant difference in the scores of interpersonal relationship integrative diagnostic scale of the control group. All dimensions do not have any differences before and after intervention except the dimension of interpersonal conversation(p>0.05) which means that group psychological counseling has better intervention effect on interpersonal communication, but the intervention effect of other 3 dimensions is not ideal.(7) The scores of the intervention group and the control group are almost same, but after intervention, the differences of the scores are significant which means that the imagery communication psychotherapy in groups has better effect on intervening intercourse vexation of rural middle school students, and its intervention effect is superior to group psychological counseling.
