Communication apprehension is an individual's level of fear or anxiety associated with eitherreal or anticipated communication with another person or persons. The problem of interpersonal communication is becoming an important issue in adaption to society of Junior middle school student. Interpersonal communication is impotant on the formationg of their value and the development of individuality. Communication apprehension plays a negative role in the process of interaction. I Parents and teachers didn't pay enough attention to this subject compared with the academic achievements. This research adopted McCroskey's personal report of communication apprehension PRCA-24. 158 undergraduates at Junior middle school were tested. Those who have a high level of communication apprehension accepted six times of group intervention. The research result is as follows:1. On the whole, students' communication apprehension ranks middle and the detection rate of those who have a high level of communication apprehension is 15.20%.Differences of sex, grade didn't exist conspicuously difference in college students' communication apprehension.2. After group intervention, the score of PRCA-24 didn't exist conspicuously difference compared with before though the mean score declined.3. Time and members'attitude and other factors may affcet the effect of group intervention.
