A Study Of Zhang Chengzhi 's Works From The Perspective Of Folklore

Zhang Chengzhi, born of the Hui nationality, is one of the writers of true distinction in Chinese contemporary literature. He wrote a number of works with wonderful forms and fertile contents which delicately probe the human inner world.Folklore focus on a living culture, also a kind of human spirit. If Zhang Chengzhi’s books are studied from the perspectives of both literature and folklore, the characteristics of the contemporary ethnic literature and a powerful spirit will be recognized in both forms and contents. Various folklore carries the thought and wishes of the minority nationality people, brimming over with human interest. Next, it sets out to arouse the adulthood, convert to Jahriyya, and stick to the cleanness, which result in “the Tough Guy” in Zhang’s psychology of folk culture and establish an ideal personality in certain culture. Furthermore, it reveals the values of Zhang’s writing about folklore in the aspects of multicultural communication, environmental protection,“people-oriented” idea, and distinctive functions of the folklore ethnography. Finally,it concludes the whole paper and the vital points, and expounds the significance of Zhang’s works from the folklore perspective. Zhang Chengzhi shows the unique character, who builds a literary garden with a blaze of color, and makes Chinese literature not wither but give off its appealing splendor. From the perspective of folklore, the study of the thesis not only emphasizes the humanistic care and providereference to Chinese contemporary culture, but also contains the particularity of folklore ethnography.
