As a rare pre-Qin history book on the bamboo slips, Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Xinian” records from the earliest historical events occurred in the early Zhou Dynasty to the latest events occurred in the early Warring States, which had very important historical and academic values, such as proofing Pre-Qin historical books, supplying existed documents and correcting traditional historical books. In recent years, The scholars made multiple researches about “Xinian”, but most of them are for individual events and details, historical events of Jin State during Spring and Autumn period according to Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Xinian” are very little and not systematical. Besides, the researches about the main idea and characteristics of “Xinian” did not go far enough. based on this, we attempt to use Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Xinian” as the basic materials and use time sequence of occurrence on the historical events of Jin State during Spring and Autumn period as the central clue, to compare the historical events of Jin State during Spring and Autumn period according to Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Xinian” with traditional historical books, such as Zuozhuan, Shiji, Guoyu, Zhushujinian and Lvshichunqiu by double evidence method, to study the historical events of Jin State during Spring and Autumn period from various angles, to probe into the main idea and age of “Xinian”, to analyse the narrative characteristics of “Xinian”.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction, mainly including research status, research reasons, research methods and research routes. in the research status, we summarize the research findings about the historical events according to Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Xinian” by country.The second part is a main body which includes from the second chapter to the seventh chapter of this thesis. we analyse and compare the historical events of Jin State during Spring and Autumn period according to Tsinghua Bamboo Slips “Xinian” with traditional historical books, such as Zuozhuan, Shiji,by using time as clues, like the Western Zhou Dynasty, early Spring and Autumn period, the middle of the Spring and Autumn period, the late Spring and Autumn period, the Warring States period. In addition, we study the theme of the numerous historical events.The third part is two special subject researches. we probe into the main idea and age of “Xinian”, and analyse the narrative characteristics of “Xinian”, based on “Xinian”.The last part is the conclusion.
