On Zweitheva 's Prose Creation

Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva is one of the most outstanding Russian poets of The Silver Age, and she is also an excellent essayist and dramatist. For a long time, Tsvetaeva’s prose creation was not taken seriously as a famous poet. For the point of the style of speech or narrative features, her prose can be said unique compared with other similar writers, and it can be regarded as a typical Tsvetaeva style of prose.This thesis discusses Tsvetaeva’s prose writings from three aspects. Firstly, it shows the generalization of her prose writings which are created in different times, and the exploration of the reason of her creation peak which suddenly appeared in 1930 s. Secondly, it gives the exploration of the most important themes in her prose — love, loneliness, and death, and reveals the world outlook and creation psychology that contained in her prose. Lastly, this essay makes a thorough inquiry of her narrative features and analyzes the imaginative plot, mythological elements and the Photo Montage which played important roles in her prose narrative deeply. Eventually it comes to the conclusion: Tsvetaeva’s prose creation is deeply connected with her poem, from whether the thematic or the characteristic aspect. Her prose is an extension of her prose, and it also could be said of poetic prose.
