Culture class is an integral part to the teaching for foreign students, its main role is to disseminate knowledge of Chinese culture, and give students an understanding of traditional Chinese culture and Chinese cultural psychology. In addition, it is a vital role for learners to improve their level of language application. Culture teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, including teaching of the cultural factors reflecting on language teaching and the specialized culture teaching. "Chinese culture class" in this article refers to the courses which are used to introduce and spread Chinese culture methodically and professionally to undergraduate foreign students. After entering the 21 st century, Chinese international education field pays more and more attention to culture teaching. However, research results in culture teaching are very scarce, especially on foreign students’ cultural curriculum, teacher qualifications, as well as teaching situations and materials in Chinese college. Thus, researching foreign students’ culture courses and drawing relevant conclusions by using the form of questionnaire are full with positive spirit and practical significance.This article does a research and statistics about "Chinese culture class" of undergraduate junior students, involving four majors of international Chinese education institute in Yunnan Normal University, including Chinese language, Chinese international education, international economic and trade and finance, found the started timing for this course is too late, the total class volume is a little short, and the content for this course is not rich enough; in the aspect of teachers’ team, the need of College on culture teachers is GLUT, thus, this paper dicusses the problem of teachers’ team construction from teachers training, assessment mechanism and learning opportunities in overseas; for teaching of "China culture" class, the paper explains the main content of this course is something related to daily life of Chinese and something which can express Chinese society, cultural status and culture heritage detailed, the main teaching method teachers take is preparing PPT by themselves, audio-visual information, and the cultural part of textbook, and gives a discussion of teaching mode for culture class from the difficulties teachers and students have in culture class; in selection status of textbook for "China culture" class, this paper explains the features and effections of textbook from prepared style for this textbbook, and rendering way, and concern points of content, then put forward constructive comments from the insufficient of textbook using. Hoping the paper can offer some help to culture teaching in Yunnan Normal University or even to the field of teaching Chinese as foreign language.
