| The article briefly reviews the history and present situation of U.S. military existence in Japan, and classified topics as dynamic and static status. Game theory and psychoanalysis play important roles in analyzing effects and pattern of U.S. deterrent policy on East Asia. As result, the article recognizes that U.S. achieves its deterrent force through ably building communication panics. U.S. could handle panics by actively contributing or breaking conventions, and panics will affect the willingness of challenge of other countries. To testify the theory, the article analyses the "Kitty Hawk" event to study the different effects of active and passive deterrence, and tries to find an innovative antiâ€deterrence method. |
