However, human living in inequality social never hasstopped pursuing equality. Especially, in the21st century, persons, society and nationsput forward new demands and views of equality. So, how to recognize equality, howto solve new questions and challenges become emphasis and difficulties of theresearch of Marx and Engels’s equality thought. This paper tries Marx and Engels’sequality thought as a view, based on historical mateiralism, provides ideologicalresources and practical guidance for the construction of scientific equality thought, byexplaining the ideological origins, the process of development, the main content ofMarx and Engels’s equality thought.This paper is taking historical materialism as research method, is divided into fourparts.
