China have made great achievements which have significant influences in recent times that confirmed great vitality of Marxism. Since the October Revolution bring us Marxism, our country's revolutionary road and development direction have changed significantly. We move on to socialist country and regard communism as our final goal. The development of our country comply with the rule of combination of Marxism and Chinese reality. And today's success is based on the experience and lessons of history of Chinese revolution and socialist construction. However, behind these achievements, the problem of people has raised concern prominently. It seemed that we are not concern about human development as important as great material wealth. Though the development of human is considered as a national development strategy in the process of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, the attention and discussion of individual still remains low focus and not accepted by ordinary people. It is Chinese people who play an important role in socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics that make the country independence and affluence. The best part of socialism is everyone's free and comprehensive development.This paper is based on the thought of Marx's “realistic individual”. And after illuminating this thought, this paper is attaching great importance to analyze the historic morphology and Sinicization morphology of “realistic individual”. With the view of historical materialism and perspective of era, the essence of “realistic individual” can understand better, which produce new knowledge of this thought. This thesis is divide into seven part:The first part is the introduction. Including the background and significance of this topic, literature review and research methods in this paper, key point and innovation point. The second part states Marx's “realistic individual” thought. First, summarizing the former philosophers thought about individual totally and explaining how the views of these philosophers facilitate Marx's “realistic individual” thought. Second, analyzing the essence of “realistic individual” in light of Marxist philosophy and political economy and scientific socialism. The third part mainly interprets the historic morphology of Marx's “realistic individual”. Marx divided social formation into five types, namely primitive society, slave society, feudal society, capitalist society, and communist society. Corresponding with this theory, the “realistic individual” who is living in different society experiences the life depends on nature and on material and finally achieves one's development of free and overall. The fourth part is discussing the Sinicization morphology of “realistic individual”. The sinicized “realistic individual” is the products of Marx's “realistic individual” thoughts. Combining with Chinese reality, the “realistic individual” is carrying on more and more Chinese characteristics. The fifth part briefly discusses the challenges with which the sinicized “realistic individual” is fronted. The sixth part is analyzing the contemporary significance of Marx's “realistic individual” thought, which we believed is how to prompt the free and overall development of individuals. The seven part is a summary of the thesis.
