The18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China specifies that: Strengthen and improve the Party’s leadership for the political-legal work and strengthen the construction of the political-legal team. The team should shoulder the mission of constructor and defender with socialism with Chinese characteristics. This is the overall requirements that the Party takes for the construction of the political-legal team during the new period. As the constituent bodies of state power, the grass-roots political-legal department is of great importance in maintaining social stability, protecting the interest of the people and advancing scientific progress. The construction of professional ethics is an important aspect of the construction of the political-legal team. It is the need of reality and development to improve and strengthen the professional ethics of grass-root police in the construction of political-legal team.
