Institutional Revolutionary Party of Mexico had been in powerfrom1929to2000as long as71years, is one of the few large long-ruling parties of world, the old party, and created the world attention,"Mexican miracle". When in the1980s, it had13million members, isone of the most important parties of the contemporary LatinAmerican politics.The reason of PRI had been able to long-ruling and createdmiracles, because that it established on the basis of theorganizational structure of the vocational group. The vocationalgroup structure is composed by workers Ministry, peasants Ministry,and the People Ministry, won a stable governing foundation for theofficial party. Each department is a well-organized group, is a top-down political participation channel, is one huge interest group, andthus control of the Church, labor, business, the media, politicalparties, soldiers, scholars and other social organizations, so thatconflicts of interest and conflicts can be transformed into the party.To some extent, the structure is the most decisive power system forthe long-ruling of PRI. But, after1980s with the dramatic changes inthe international, national and party environment, InstitutionalRevolutionary Party opened a process of neo-liberal reforms, andMexico’s economy and social structure has undergone profoundchanges. The vocational group structure as the organizationalfoundation of the PRI also changed and declined, and created aprofound impact on the fate of the Institutional Revolutionary Party,and eventually become an important factor of losing power in2000. After12years of reform, Mexico Institutional Revolutionary Partyregained power in2012.In this process,How the vocational group structure changed?What is the impact of these changes on PRI? What is the significanceof these changes and the impact for the Communist Party of China?This paper will describe and discuss these issues.Introduction: Firstly introduces the background and significance.Secondly sorts on the research status of the InstitutionalRevolutionary Party of Mexico. And then makes a brief overview ofthe theory of social change. Finally, introduces the main researchmethods and the basic framework.Part One: The formation of the vocational group structure of PRI.This part mainly introduces the historical development of vocationalgroup organizational structure, organizational system and its featuresand functions.Part Two: The motivations of the vocational group structure’schange. This part mainly uses the theory of social change in analyingthe main factors affecting the group structure’s change from threerespects as international, domestic factors and PRI’s political ecology.Part Three: Changes in the vocational group structure and theinfluences on PRI.
