On The Cultivation Of Teenagers' Modern Personality In The Period Of Social Transformation

At present, China is undergoing a social transition, namely the period from thetraditional society to the modern society, from planned economic system to marketeconomic system. The transition of socialized human beings is a necessary part of thetransition of society. Modernization of society should begin with the modernization ofhuman beings, the core of which is the modernization of personality. The teenagerbears the future and hope of our country, and they are the primary builders andsuccessors of great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The cultivation ofyouth’s modern personality relates to the realization of socialist modernization, therejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and the feature of China in the21stcentury.Therefore, cultivating modern personality of teenagers is not only the importantcontent of developing advanced culture, but also the inevitable requirement ofsocialist modernization strategic target. The whole society should pay much moreattention and respond actively.This essay is divided into four sections. The first is outline, for the subjectbackground, research status, and the research methods. The second defines theconnation of personality and modern personality, elaborating five characteristics ofthe personality: autonomy, aggressiveness, thick virtuous, openness, law-advocated.The third illustrates the characteristics of personality development in social transitionperiod, and analyzes the reason from four aspects. The growth of economic market isimmature. The system of social governance is still not perfect. The social valuesystem is to be established. There has been a lack of education in the stage of socialtransition. The fourth of this essay explores three research routes of cultivatingyouth’s modern personality: attaching more importance to youth’s modern personalitycultivation; optimizing the contents of youth’s modern personality cultivation;improving the approach of youth’s modern personality cultivation. Only to focus theefforts of family, school and society, the development of modern personality of young people can be ensured.
