Wang Jiaxiang, committed Marxist, outstanding proletarian, one of the main leadersof the Communism Party of China and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, and oneof the pioneers of the diplomatic work of the People’s Republic of China. He has everworked as the first ambassador of China to the Soviet Union, the Deputy ForeignMinister, and the Minister of the International Liaison Department of the CentralCommittee of the CPC. He is experienced in diplomatic work thanks to his long-termrelevant working experience, which also brought him lots of valuable thoughts aboutDiplomacy.This article elaborates Wang Jiaxiang’s main diplomatic thoughts by reviewing hismain experience in the era of Chinese revolution and his experience of diplomaticwork. His diplomatic thoughts originated from the historical background and his mainexperience. His main thoughts about inter-party relationship include the "family andnot family" principal, the "mutual respect and Equality and autonomy" base, and histhoughts about the national independence movement, the peace movement, foreignrevolution, and foreign aid. His thoughts about war and peace include his idea aboutthe peaceful diplomatic policy of China, the relationship between war and peace,disarmament,and nuclear war. His thoughts about civil diplomacy include the maincontents, objective, nature and working skills of civil diplomacy. Some of his mainthoughts are still inspiring for today’s diplomatic work.
