Ideology management is an important part of the ideological construction. It is an important manifestation of the ruling party’s ability to govern. The traditional ideology management is conducted in a closed environment. In this case, since the audience is in passive acceptance of the status, it is unidirectional. Although, under certain conditions, this management model has played a certain role, but with the rise of the Internet, this management model increasingly being challenged.The Internet has opened up new areas and provided the new methods for socialist ideology management in raising awareness of the Marxist ideology of identity, expanding and promoting regional and international cultural exchanges and cooperation, and enhancing the attractiveness and radiation of socialist ideology, at the same time it has created new challenges and impacts for socialist ideology management. The impacts of the Internet on the ideology of management are mainly on subject, object, and environment as well as the ways and means of ideological management. The Internet enhances the subjectivity of Internet users; meanwhile, it increases the difficulty of management for governing body and presents a challenge for the traditional management methods.In order to cope with the challenges of Internet for management of ideology, we must strengthen the ideological construction management team to enhance the ideology ability of managers, while strengthening education and transformation of Internet users, especially the "opinion leaders" conversion work. On this basis, strengthening ideological management approach innovation, adhering to the positive guidance while not relaxing the traditional management and control.
