Red Cross Society of China has been developing for more than100years in China; the complicated and hard process is with the evolvement and development of China’s history. Red Cross Society of China has achieved rapid growth in recent years and can provide more and more humanitarian services to the most needy vulnerable groups. However, the "Guo Meimei Incident" happened in June2011embarrassed Red Cross Society of China with doubts from the public, since then its credibility dropped dramatically and more and more questions raised on its operations. In order to study the reason for its declining credibility and problematic operation based on relevant theories on management, this paper works out strategies to better its operation to improve its credibility.Guided by theories of public goods, the third sector and etc, this paper uses methods of data studies, comparative analysis, investigation, etc, to analyze problems on Chinese Red Cross’s credibility and operation, and finds the reasons behind. The paper provides solutions and suggestions on its management systems, daily operation, internal&external supervision, human resources management, fundraising and publicity&disseminations, particularly on its management levels, fundraising, humanitarianism dissemination and voluntary services. By employing those solutions and suggestions, Red Cross Society of China can change its embarrassing situation for its presence in China, rectify its problems, and enhance its working methods and skills to improve its credibility, which has positive effect on its sound development and good for providing better and effective humanitarian services to vulnerable groups.
