Design And Implementation Of Streamming Relay Server In Real-Time Video Monitoring System

With the development of computer, network, communication and other techniques, real-time video monitoring system is widely used in education, government, amusement place, hospital, hotel, gymnasium, and public security. To satisfy users'growing requirements, it is necessary to develop a new real-time video monitoring system.This paper analyses the development and current situation of real-time video monitoring system, introduces the streaming media technique and the relevant protocols, and improves the real-time monitoring system. The design and implementation of streaming media relay server is introduced in details.The achievements of this paper are:1. Study the architecture of the existing real-time video monitoring system, and analyzes the deficiencies and defects, and put forward improving ideas.2. Aiming at the conflict between the sending rate of network camera and the receiving rate of user terminal, propose a relay cache mechanism to improve the QoS of relay with user watching continuously.3. Through the Admission Control module, realize the new stream access request control in order to avoid server paralysis or network congestion in complicated cases.4. Add a automatic-stop-relay function in order to stop receiving the media data when it's not required anymore. As a result, the network traffic and the resource of system are eased.
