The Research And Practice Of A Performance Test Tool On Core Networks Of CDMA2000

This topic comes from the CDMA2000 3GCN core network test project. Performance testing as a communication software life cycle indispensable constituent part to improve the software quality plays an important role. This project aims to improve the ability of core network product performance testing and make it in performance achieve stability, high quality requirements by innovation and transformation of computer technology. At the same time, this project provides an underlying platform compatible for other communications equipment testing tool, so we can make them conveniently and effectively.By structured and modularization design idea, using VC Tools, this design has completed the software study and development of subsystem of main module, subsystem of script interpreter, subsystem of test execution and subsystem of communication, using TCL scripting technology, XML database technology, and WindowsAPI technology. The synchronization problem of business processes and test has been solved by using multithread technology. In order to make user changing the call process conveniently, we used TCL scripting technology. We let it improve the ability of dealing with the variable parameters by using XM1 database technology. The problem of communication between server an client has been solved by using socket technology. By debugged and approved, the software has been put into use. By performance test, all specifications have reached or surpassed the requests of acceptance commitments. The system technology rebuild has low cost and short cycle. By project test, the system has run stably and reliably.By the design put into use, each performance of core networks product has been enhanced, and market competition capability has been strengthened greatly. That adapts to new requests of test research and production development.
