Design Of The VoIP Gateway With GSM Module

With rapid development of the optical communication techniques and the digital transmission technology, in the data communication network, bandwidth and the quality of service already no longer became the bottleneck, thus urged on Internet each kind of service to turn towards the wide band and the real-time tendency development. For instance, under this kind of background, VoIP (Voice over IP) obtained the widespread and the considerable development. It allows you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of an analog phone line. The service can make a communication connection between computers, traditional telephones and even GSM/CDMA cell phones.The VoIP gateway is the most important part in the VoIP system. We can use the VoIP gateway for each kind of inexpensive VoIP applications and variable increment service. The most important technology in VoIP is signalling technology. And Now there are two kinds of signalling protocol were widely used. And H.323 is the major one, but SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is now be selected by many kinds of VoIP gateway for its easy realization, and the good extension ability, SIP is a protocol used for establishing, modifying and terminating conversation. Because different gateway got different physics access medium, so use SIP stack in the VoIP gateway has the profound significance and the practical value.This paper has been thoroughly analyzing the VoIP service prospect and the current mainstream VoIP protocol, elaborated emphatically SIP's struction and the network system. Considered that there are too many kinds of Voip Gateway concerned only PSTN and Voip, and omitted the GSM. So I choose it as my research aim. This paper also introduced hardware system architecture of the gateway, introduced emphatically in the GSM module and VoIP module, PBX module, Then introduced the VoIP gateway software architecture emphatically, and how to realize the intelligent router multianalysis. Finally analyzes the performance through the system test. Finally, the test solution of this gateway equipment in the LAN/WAN is provided;andseveral function of the gateway are tested, including registering on the SIP server and some basic conversation procedure. The result proves: this gateway runs well.
