The Research Of VOIP Voice Gateway And The Implementation And The Design Of Its Hardware

As is known to all, IP-based Internet has become the foundation of the new world. It is the general trend that all services are converged to IP network, so as to shape a real integrated service network. As a result, VOIP that is based on such network has become the development direction of voice communication. As a transitional terminal unit, VOIP voice gateway has bridged between traditional PSTN and IP network, thus speedding up the step of VOIP development and popularization. At the same time ,VOIP voice gateway have prosperous commercial value. Chapter 4 is the thesis point, step by step introduces every part of VOIP voice gateway in detail, including the function characteristic, operation method, the hardware structure, interface conection etc... by the detailed treatise, emerging the hardware realization of the voice gateway systematically. In the end , the summary sums up some experiences about debug of the hardware.
