| With the increase of mobile device types and the extension of device functions, device administration system has confronted the challenges of tracing device status and configuration. The data exchange can be easily blocked because of the different data format and incompatible protocols of those mobile devices.In device management, devices that are under the control can support transparent setting of all parameters provided by the management part. The devices can also synchronize data and retain the consistency of data. As there is not a uniform storage model, persistency and synchronization of data remain a challenge for various heterogeneous data sources.This dissertation has done some research on heterogeneous data synchronization technology of mobile devices. It firstly introduces Service-Oriented Architecture, Service Data Objects, and Device Management. To solve problems of present device management, the dissertation has proposed a solution to process device management data, providing a generic synchronization model for mobile applications that use heterogeneous data source. The solution solves the problems about data processing, consistency and updating data object.Relying on the proposed scheme, a TDM which validates the basic function has been developed with Sync4j and SDO. |
