Research And Realization Of XMPP-Based EIM

Like Email, Instant Messaging (IM) System is also a successful entrepreneur in internet application. It appears in recent years and has brought about great changes in living. However, Instant Messenger provides people a quick and convenient communication means, but it meets a big challenge in corporation application. First IM is used as a tool to communcate with friends, which reduce the work efficient. Second there are so many SPIM Hacker software and virus on the IM network that the enterprise encounted a risk of system security. Third the enterprise should protecting sensitive information when using IM.This paper analysis the aspects which Enterprise IM needs to improve and perfect through those Enterprise IM products which are used by many companies. Furthermore we understand XMPP is import in Instant Messenger protocol by analyzing all IM protocol. At last this paper design an Enterprise IM model based on XMPP and carry out it. Paper's profile is below:(1)A summary about how to evalate an enterpirce IM solution. We investigating current situation of the Enterprise base on five classical soluation. (2)A sumaary about all standard protocol of IM. Make a comparsion between SIMPLE and XMPP, and make a conclutionof the adventage of XMPP. We present a detail introducion of XMPP in this thsis.(3)Take the advantage of extendable of XMPP, we propose using the Enterprise IM to AD news of company and RSS from outside; we propose how to save important chat records and publish them to those who want to know. We propose a set a design to a full-featured Enterprise IM including an access model to limit the chat between users .Thought all the design we think in XMPP.(4)There is shortage in management of current XMPP enterprise IM soluation including: managment of user and user group, management the policy of who a user can communciate whith or send file to, management of message audit policy. We propose designs of those managements.(5) Base on an open source XMPP server soft We Construct a model realization of an Enterprise IM solution base on XMPP.
