Electro-hydraulic servo valve is the key component of electro-hydraulic servo system,the test of its static and dynamic characteristic is significant in theories and test research of electro-hydraulic servo system ,With the development of computer-aided test(CAT) technique, the test technique of electro-hydraulic servo valve has made a great progress ,also gone up to a new high level with the appearance of virtual instruments technique.By combining virtual instruments technique with the test technique of electro-hydraulic servo valve, the test system of electro-hydraulic servo valve based on virtual instruments has been developed by the graphics software- LabVIEW The test principle and method of electro-hydraulic servo valve were discussed in this dissertation.It mainly introduces the capability standard of electro-hydraulic servo valve static and dynamic state characteristic and it also tells the basic theory of test principle, data acquisition and signal processing.Then, design the hardware configuration for test system .It mainly includes choosing computer,sensor device, signal adjusting device and data acquisition device and also designing the anti-amming means for test system.Next, design the software for test system .It mainly introduces to us one kind of software based on graphics-LabVIEW which is faced to instrument and test process and provides a real method for test system. It builds the electro-hydraulic servo valve CAT system by combining hardware and software.Finally,The validity of the method was proved by the experimental results .Therefore, the measurement of the characteristic of load-flow and no-load flow can be realized by using this method. It has obtained the satisfactory result.The prevailing virtual instruments programming software-LabVIEW7.1 is used with Windows XP operating system. The interface is friendly and program structure is clear and easy to maintain. As virtual signal sources produces all the stimulating signals and virtual instruments performs all the testing functions, this testing system saves real instruments and lowers the expenditure.
