PCI bus has been rapidly developed and popularized for its various advantages such as high quality, low cost and the open characteristics. It is an actual bus standard for high performance PCs. Windows 2000 operation system based on NT kernel is also mostly accepted because of its excellent safety and stability guarantees in addition to its friendly user interface and operability.As the main data and command channel between the forehead detector array and the data process computer for the high-energy Industrial Computed Tomography System, the multi-channel data transfers and control interface for possesses the functions of control command, state words and forehead data transportation.Based on deeply analysis on three aspects including the PCI bus standard, Windows 2000 system inner principle and the WDM model, this article presents further detailed analysis on the design idea and realizing method of the multi-channel data transfers and control interface based on PCI bus and device driver under the Windows 2000 system. The designed card and its corresponding driver program has been utilized in military industry and, proved very successful.
