| Library is the service center of the information resources. Digital reference book systems are playing an important role in digital resource of the university library because it includes digital teaching resource in various forms which covers every part of the teaching and learning. Thus, with the development of the information and digital library technology, many local libraries construct their own digital reference book systems which can provide distant learning and online studying for the university students conveniently. But it is easy to find that many digital reference book systems have some problems to improve. For example, the digital reference book systems in the university are repeatedly constructed and the teaching resources in them are distributed dispersedly. Besides,the students always don't need to refer to the whole content of the reference books, but some paragraphs or sections of the books which have some related knowledge. So how to collect the knowledge the readers need is what the research concentrates on.By researching on the present development and research of the digital reference book systems, this research develops a new distributed digital reference book system (DDRBS) based on the previous system developed by the research team before in order and the knowledge object theory to get rid of these problems mentioned above. DDRBS uses the popular web services technology to manage the distributed work. Concretely, the research team constructs a center server and some other distributed servers which expose the call interface (wsdl document). By the interface, other systems can call the node knowledge object server. At the same time, the author improves the basic function of the center server and node servers in order to realize the related knowledge clustering and reconstruction based on the traditional searching. In the node server, DDRBS can transfer the documents in different format into a text format and pick up the paragraph and upload it to the center server to parse and fractionize the knowledge. In the central server, DDRBS uses the API lucene to index and does the searching work for the digital object in the node servers. In order to cluster and reconstruct the knowledge object searching by lucene, DDRBS uses the algorithm Lingo API in project Carrot2 to find the words or phrases to label the knowledge objects in the node server visually. At last, the author operates a series of test to find that the algorithm in the systems can meet the requirement and expectation of the author.In all, this research uses some popular technologies to realize the operation of the reconstruction and clustering of the distributed knowledge which provides the readers more choices and function in the searching of the digital reference book system. DDRBS can be a good reference for the future digital reference book systems in the university. |
