The purpose of this thesis is to design an Electronic Cabin tester, which can realize automatic measurement for product. The key point of the system is the PXI control computer and the control board. FPGA which is embedded in Control board, control the state of the relay matrix, realizes power supply, measure signal's level and frequence. PXI-6123 based on Labview 8.5 development environment responses for the send of control word, signal's sampling and displaying,This whole system integrates PXI control computer, control board and three electronic devices, include arbitrary waveform generator, digital oscilloscope, and digital multimeter. PXI control computer commands the arbitrary waveform generator through serial port, the control board through PXI-6123, the digital oscilloscope through USB port, and finally completes the measurement of all the performance parameters of the Electronic Cabin tester automatically.Firstly, the thesis introduces the concept of Virtual Instrument, the classify, the feature, and the development trend, describes the architecture of Virtual Instrument. Secondly, analyze the design idea and system architecture of the Electronic Cabin tester, pay more attention to the setup of hardware platform, including device selection and the control board design. Thirdly, describe the realization of all of the instrument control modules and measurement functions in details. Finally, the project research results and some problems needed to be solved is proposed.
