| High speed data acquisition system has various applications such as signal detection, radars, image processing, network communication etc, different applications need different bus and designs, but the key technology of high-speed data acquisition is the realization of the interface to the PC.With the development of the bus of cPCI, cPCI bus gradually replaces the PCI and the VME, it is widely used by people who work in the field of measuring and controlling.This paper introduces a data acquisition system which the bus of cPCI is choosed as the interface between PC and the system, for meeting the high-speed data transmission and the mechanical strength between the acquisition card and the PC. The design of single-chip FPGA is used to carry out the PCI protocol, and take the place of the traditional FIFO and serial-to-parallel switch CMOS chip, and fulfill the control function of the anolog circuit, as well as putting parts of data's read and write operation of the application program in the dynamic-link library, in order to reduce the waste of resources and time delay which is caused by accessing to the driver repeatly.By analyzing PCI bus protocol, and understanding the design method of high-frequency digital circuit and the principle of high-speed data acquisition, this paper introduces high-speed data acquisition system based on cPCI interface. After testing and field applications, the result of tests shows that the acquisition system has reached the requirement of performance. |
