Study On Behavior Of Small Households' Vegetables Production And Management

The behavior of small households' production and management decide the increase and decrease of its income, and also affect the development of rural economy. Therefore, the research purpose of this paper lies in analyzing behavior of small households' production and management and its influence of economy, environment and social benefits. Then it offers feasible countermeasure suggestion on development of vegetable planting field and increase of farmers' income in Peng Zhou.The research course of this paper is that utilize behavior scientific theory, benefit theory and the theory of sustainable development, select 60 small households of Shengli and Xibei village in Peng Zhou as studying object, adopt the demonstration analysis method of qualitative and quantitative analysis, establish CD production function to analysis behavior of small households' vegetable production and management. It discusses about the character of behavior of small households' production and management, and form process of small households' production decision, and influencing factors and judges the primary and secondary of these factors. It analyzes from the all-directional angle that are vegetable planting field and influence on market supply and demand, resource use and environmental influence. It sees about performance of vegetable planting behavior through the relationship between character, behavior and performance of small households. Finally, it puts forward feasible policy suggestion to small households and government relevant department, and promote vegetable planting field to developing healthily, by order and continuously.The major conclusion of this paper:(1) The analysis conclusion of behavior feature of small households' vegetable production and management. The variety combination is diversification in the link before production. The labor force, land, capital and technical etc. input essential factor is the major influencing factor on output value and vegetable output in the process of production. The time, place and price etc. of market sales influence the vegetable income of smallhouseholds' directly postpartum link.(2) The analysis conclusion of influencing factor. The quality of labor force, produce experience and ability, land, natural environment, capital, information, system policy etc. inside and external factor common influence the behavior of small households' production and management.(3) The analysis conclusion of model. Land is the most important factor in the input essential factor of vegetable production. Labor force and chemical are influence vegetable income obviously. But the limit production of chemical fertilizer is smaller than lands' and is negative value in the most conditions. The seed and other essential factors affect less in the influencing factor of vegetable production. The age of householder and distance of market are the important influence factor of vegetable income. The vegetable planting area average per agricultural labor force and it take the proportion of land area, and getting educational level of householder affect weakly to vegetable production.(4) The performance analysis conclusion of behavior. Economic benefits is the most direct lever to adjust crops planting proportion and area, planting garlic and other vegetable is the rational choice as investigation household in existence condition; disease and insect pest affect for the output of vegetable maximum, the use behavior of chemical and chemical fertilizer can also produce important influence for environment; vegetable income take greater proportion in the total income of small households, and have solved the employment problem of plenty of peasants.Based on above-mentioned research conclusion, this paper suggests that following policy suggestions: protect land vigorously, improve land quality; increase the input of education and training, improve the rural laborer's scientific and technological quality further; set up the hierarchical system of vegetables quality, advance vegetables standardization production; quicken the development of relevant industries of vegetables, advance the rural transfer of surplus labor; improve the vegetables wholesale market and commercial network, promote the vegetables to be sold.
