A Study On Clustering Of Foreign Direct Investment In Global Value Chain

Under globalization, producing activities of enterprises have not achieved balance in dimensional location, while relative producing activities tend to cluster in some areas more intensively. Development of areas is out of equilibrium highly. Multinational capital flow reflects the obvious clustering tendency in geography, which makes the district producing system seem to be fragment in the whole value chain. FDI mainly clusters in two River Deltas evidently during the course of China's reciving international industral transition.This essay combines FDI theory with the industry cluster theory, trying to study the FDI cluster phenomena from the connection of FDI cluster and some theories as well as some subjects, in order to construct the FDI cluster theory system, including the explanation of generation, formation, effect, development and evolvement of the FDI cluster. Based on that, DongGuan city is being used as an example to study the foreign capital cluster in IT industry, and the emphasis is on the reflection, reason, weakness and countermeasures in IT industry cluster in DongGuan city. So that the necessary theory basis and references can be put forward for the government, which is using foreign capital to develop district cluster economy and enhance the competitive advantage of different areas.
