| Due to the vagueness and permeableness of their boundary, they are named boundaryless organization, which have some styles, for example, comolanate organization,cross-functions team,process re-engineering,learning organization,virtual corporation,strategic alliances ,network organization and so on, which elaborate the organizational transform under the new environment from different angles, with the more drastic competition of market, the accelerating speed of information processing and communications, and the arrival of the globe economy. The paper emphasizes on the base theory research of boundaryless organization, such as the cause of emerging,the concept,the meaning,the characters and the styles. Moreover, the paper put forward the point that a firm can create the boundary organization by breaking through five organizational boundaries, including vertical boundaries ,horizontal boundaries ,external boundaries,geographic boundaries and psychological boundaries. The article reports a case study of GE. At last, the article study the operation mechanisms of boundaryless organization, including strategic synergetic mechanisms,coordinating mechanisms,decision mechanisms,study mechanisms,logistics mechanisms,informational exchange mechanisms and corporate culture mechanisms. |
