Since 1990's, along with industrial restructuring, organizational changes and changes in psychological contracts, more and more employees change their jobs frequently. Researchers named this career management "boundaryless career". Under the era of boundaryless career, following the current financial crisis, corporate layoffs and employee turnover are existing at the same time. Therefore, the optimization and adjustment of career management to enhance the employability of employees is essential.In the boundaryless career era, improving employee's career needs to understand the reasons and the characters for boundaryless career. Many reasons for boundaryless career are found, such as industry restructuring, economical globalization and techniques development. Then, according to the analyzing above, this thesis analyses how the factors on employee's boundaryless career development change. Thirdly, by comparing the traditional and the boundaryless career model, changing of the psychological contract, the standards of professional success, and stages of career development, this thesis sums up the impact of career management of the related factors. Fourthly, through the analysis of these factors, the thesis finds out the problems existing in the current career management, especially the problems exposed in the financial crisis. Finally, combination of the typical cases of career management in the domestic and foreign enterprises, this paper proposes some countermeasures of the boundaryless career management. Including: strengthening the psychological contracts from the aspects of organizations and individuals; helping the staff to establish a scientific concept of career success; establishing a multi-professional access and implementation different career management for different stuff.
