| Chongqing is built against mountains at the junction of the Changjiang River and the Jialingjiang River. So Chongqing is a typical mountain-city and water-city combining mountain with water everywhere. It displays its important position during the period of historic transition in the Western Development. As a mountain-city, Chongqing has a little great difference about Land-Use from any other city, regardless it is from the aspect of social economy or ecological environment. Therefore, the researches of the Land-Use and Land-Cover have practical value. It mainly contains the content as the followings:1. The dynamic analysis of different Land-Use types in different periods by using the functions of GIS such as inquire, statistics, spatial analysis and mapmaking output. The research shows that from 1961 to 1981, the Land-Use the movement level of grass-lands, urban lands , and dry land is positive。 This shows that the use of these lands is increasing while the use of others is decreasing. In other three periods including the years from 1981 to 1993,1993 to 2000 and 2000 to 2003, it is because of the sharp development of the population and the fast growth of the civilization that a lot of lands such as dry lands, paddy field, rural residential areas and woodlands are replaced by cities and towns. Therefore, the damage is very serious and the ecological environment is being deteriorated gradually. This is the time regulation of Land-Use change. There exists some distinction in society , economy, and natural condition in different areas. The Land-Use change in the main districts of Chongqing has an obvious feature of special distribution。 The city transitional areas become me main areas for city enlargement. City and town land develops mainly in the flat regions where the transportation is convenient. The main districts of Chongqing are constrained by their natural physiognomy, so the land distributes mostly as the structure of 'several and agminate city centers'. Thus the condition of Land-Use and Land-Cover shows an apparent grads difference.2. The human activities have a great influence on the Land-Use change. According to the human impact index formula, all the human impact indexes occuring during six periods including the years of 1961, 1973,1981, 1993,2000 and 2003,and in the eightmain districts, are increasing gradually. With the sharp development of the population, the influence made by the human activities to Land-Use change is also worsened day by day. The Land-Use policy of the government has a great effect on Land-Use change too. Moreover, it has the function to the regional Land-Use by force. 3. With the development of the population, urban ecological environments has been destroyed, the original regions of 713km2 does not satisfy the demands of residents any more. Based on the study of LUCC's impetus, the research domain is broadened from 713 km2 in the main district areas to 5473 km2 of the urban regions. From the suitability of city constructive lands, it determines the future development direction in the urban areas. Therefore, the sustainable use of city lands is put forward to reach the natural unity between human beings and the lands.Via the study on Land-Use dynamic change and spatio-temporal features of the main districts of Chongqing, which began to exist 42 years ago, we get the main impetus factors for Land-Use Change and summarize the influence made by human activities on Land-Use, and put up with scientific proof for the future city development. |
