In the current world, electricity industry is realizing the organizational reform of electric power system marketability. We can improve the efficiency of the electricity industry by competing and optimizing the resource configuration. It will maximize the social welfare. Because the power plant is a main part of the electricity market, and it is required to compete with rivals through strategy bidding in order to maximize its own benefit. This paper not only researches the now using models and algorithms of strategy bidding behavior of power plant in the electricity market environment, but also builds the prototype of the bidding model which is used under the situation of the electricity market. There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter is the preface which introduces the electricity market summarily. The second chapter deeply analyzes the background, foundation and the research fields of the electricity market and bring forward bidding rules which is fit for the unilateral market of generating electricity. Based on the second chapter, the third chapter not only mainly discusses some problems of the bidding strategy algorithm and explains the realization of the crucial techniques, but also brings forth a method of plotting bidding curve which based on lost function and gives some calculation examples after considering the generating method of the optimal electricity quantity with the unit restriction. The fourth chapter analyzes the idea of the game theory and its application in the electricity market with emphasis and advances a bidding strategies framework which based on the idea of evolutionary game theory. Based on the first four chapters, the fifth chapter discusses the design and realization approaches of the prototype of decision support systems and brings forward the bidding models.
