Credit is the basis of goods exchange and market economy. It plays an important role in promoting economic development. Credit is also an intangible asset. It is presumption and guarantee to promote competitive ability of Chinese enterprises. Meanwhile, it can also bring risk. In order to control such risk, strengthening credit management is needed by any enterprises. Credit management is a very important component of enterprise management. The level of credit management has everything to do with the accomplishment of corporate objectives. More specifically, in order to create value and generate profits, corporate managements need to wisely incorporate the component of credit management into the entire enterprise cycle. Globalization and China's accession to WTO have prompted the Chinese enterprises to enhance their control of credit management in order to implement the credit management system.This article redefines the connotation of credit and credit management being studied according to the general theory of credit and the value of enterprise. It emphasizes that credit is integrity of economy and morality, and credit management is not only credit selling management but also involves establishing and maintaining the enterprise credit. At the same time, analyses the main during factors of enterprise value from the angle of the enterprise value evaluation, putting forward the tactics of credit management for modern enterprise based on maximization value of enterprise and the suggestion of raising the enterprise value and strengthening the construction of credit management in enterprise.
