Economy globalization and the development of information technology have dramatically changed enterprises'circumstances, which force enterprise management to carry on a great innovation; BPR is a new management theory that meets the requirements of this change. Since the short it has been introduced to China and great differences between western enterprises and Chinese enterprises, how to understand and develop this idea is a subject facing our enterprises and academia. Based on domestic and overseas researches, the integration of business strategy, organizational structure and information technology in BPR is studied in this paper. This paper first summarizes the development and current study of BPR. Then, according to characteristics and existing problems of domestic enterprises, development directions of BPR and new features of enterprises after applying BPR are illustrated. Based on national and international practical experience, key technologies of BPR for domestic enterprises are summarized. By using system engineering method, business processes are divided into soft environment (corporate culture, etc.) and hard environment (enterprise strategy, organizational structure and information technology). This paper emphasis the dependent and supporting relationships between BPR and factors of hard environment, thus integration models of BPR and enterprise strategy, organizational structure and information technology are established, which may provide enterprises with references for implementing BPR. To further analyze the integration model, the HEXIE management theory and method are applied in BPR. Finally, the above research fruits are applied to the BPR project of an enterprise. According to the requirements of BPR in implementing informationization and applying market mechanism to enterprise management, based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis, core processes of the company are determined, and a detailed scheme of organizational adjustment and informationization planning is put forward, which has been put into practice in the company. On the basis of BPR, the company has successfully implemented the ERP, OA, PDM and HRM systems.
