As the research going on and the requirement of modern enterprises, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) has got rapid development and improvement in both theory and practice field. But a long period of time, BPR implementation has been accompanied by a higher failure rate. Statistics showed that,75 percent of the BPR implementation projects are failure. Because the introduction of BPR will inevitably lead to changes in the organizational structure, business process and technology, correct methods and techniques are necessary for the birth of new organization and business process and technology. However, these changes should be adopted by the enterprise which is a whole organization. Improper handling of these will definitely increase the risk of BPR implementation. So how to use the right approach and effective implementation technology in BPR to increase its success rate is an important research. This article divides the factors which affect the BPR implementation into technical factors and non-technical factors, As the implementation risks which are brought by technical factors can be reduced by external experts and experiential learning, this paper mainly studies the adoption problems which are brought by non-technical factors. This paper first analyzes the meaning and value of the research on BPR adoption in organization under the current economic environment and BPR theories, then set up my research structure and methodology. On this basis, this paper studies the related theory of research and literature reviews, then introduces the concept of the adoption of BPR by organization, and analyzes the status of BPR implementation and experience in both domestic and foreign enterprises, and then proposes the general definition of the adoption of BPR by organization and set up corresponding adoption model. Finally, I made a summary and prospect of the paper. The first chapter is Introduction which describes the background and the status to the study of the BPR, and the paper studies the significance and innovation. The significance of the study of the BPR research on adoption by organizations is to analyze the factors which impact the spread of BPR in the organization, in order to enhance the implementation of BPR. The innovation include: 1. to take the definition of BPR organizations, in order to lay the foundation for follow-up study; 2. Set up the adoption model of BPR by the organization which is based on TOE theory; 3. the establishment of mechanism model to the organization by the BPR adoption model. At present, the proliferation of innovative research at the organizational level applies the theory of planned behavior, technology acceptance model, mission-planning matching model, and the wick of those approaches is they are lack of environmental factors which impact innovation diffusion, and the TOE Theory includes innovative technologies, organizational and environmental factors , and through the analysis of three relevant factors we can get the factors that affect the innovation diffusion. This method has been wide used in EDI, E-Business, ERP and other new technology adoption research by organization and it is the theoretical basis to BPR adoption.Chapter II Reviews the relevant literature, including process reengineering theory, innovation diffusion theory, theory of information technology adoption, TOE theory and organizational behavior theory, and the most important theories are innovation diffusion theory and the TOE Theory. TOE theory play an important role in the relevant field research, and this article summarized the research methods of TOE theory in some relevant field which can be used in the research of adoption of BPR by organizations. Then the Chapter III. Firstly the paper definited the BPR adoption by organization based on past research results and methods, and then set up the BPR adoption model by organization based on the TOE model. The model takes the process into six stages which are: awareness, adoption, implementation, adaptation, acceptance, integration, and then the paper set up the adoption model for each of the six stages and the mechanism to absorb the impact of organizational model, organizations will be absorbed BPR process and the establishment of mechanism model to the organization by the BPR adoption model. The paper established the relationship between BPR adoption and the organization reform which reflected the organization growth; Then the paper explain the BPR adoption model by organizations which mainly describe the impact of factors for all aspects. The paper can guide the business derived from the BPR strategy practice.Chapter IV is a case study, and through the construction of Lenovo BPR projects the paper descriptive analysis the BPR adoption model, and corresponds the actual case of enterprises, projects, and environmental factors in the case of the embodiment to the model, and through analysis, In this paper, the impact of factors which are put forward by the model of BPR adoption by organization are right, but as a result of my lack of energy resources and constraints, some of the impact of organizational factors in the model could not be verified. For the conclusion of the fifth chapter, the article summarizes the results of research and innovation, and also the prospect of the latter research. The main contribution of this paper can be summarized as follows: Definite the adoption of Business Process Re-engineering by organizations which laid the foundation for further research; The establishment of BPR adoption model by organizations, which analysis the impact of three dimensions in the spread of BPR from a technical, organizational and environmental aspect; the direction of further study in this article have the following two points: In this paper, the theoretical model were not simulated by the actual confirmation, so the next step is empirical analysis, namely: we need a certain number of sample enterprises for the collection of data, and establish a quantitative relationship between the impact factors of the model and the expected purposes of each stage through the application of the method of statistical analysis; through empirical analysis we can investigate the factors which are not listed but exist in the practice of enterprise, and then revise and improve the model. On the basis of the adoption of BPR, the main purpose of this study is to analysis the course of adoption and set up adoption model of BPR by the organization. Finally, I will verify the validity of the model through several cases, thus to guide the practice of enterprises.
