Research On Inter-organizational Business Process Reengineering Based On Supply Chain

As the competition between enterprises evolved into the competition between supply chains they in, as the inter-organizational communion becoming more and complex, the research of inter-organizational business process reengineering (Inter-organizational BPR) becoming a new study area of BPR theory. This dissertation, based on the research production of BPR and supply chain, re-defined the connotation of Inter-organizational BPR, using the method of theory discussing and modeling. This dissertation pointed out that the nature of Inter-organizational BPR was re-arranging inter-organizational business process between enterprises on the supply chain for the purpose of smoothing the flow of material , money and information ,and then the performance of supply chain can be heavily increased in the end, and the enterprise's competitive advantage would be achieved for the reason of win-win too. With the stand point of system science, this dissertation, utilizing a mathematics model, pointed out that the performance of supply was determined by how inner-process of enterprises and inter-organizational processes worked. Furthermore, this dissertation presented a normal route of inter-organizational business process reengineering, and also discussed some tough problems in reengineering, such as how to choose participators, how to construct reengineering team, and how to construct interest distribution and confliction solved mechanisms, etc. At last, this dissertation concluded that Inter-organizational BPR should start from belief revolution, and then combine inter-organizational process innovation and technology innovation for the purpose of reengineering's success.
