The Study On Relativity Of Zhujiang Shipping And Regional Economy

When we entered 21~st century, a new century, regional economy develops rapidly. As a leading part in the regional economy development, Zhujiang drainage area economic zone faces great opportunity and challenge in the new era. The development of regional economy interrelates closely with the development of regional transportation. In addition, Zhu jiang is the important shipping artery of our country. Zhu jiang economic zone is a kind of typical drainage area economy, as we all know, the development of the shipping transportation is a hinge of the stratagem of Zhujiang drainage area development. With the startup of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) and the cooperation of abroad Zhujiang delta economy zone boost up quickly, the foreign trade of the region must increase quickly. All the development will depend on the improving of Zhujiang shipping. The paper studies the close relationship between regional economy and shipping transportation by demonstration and model analysis. It shows the importance of the construction and development of transportation to the overall development of Zhujiang drainage area economic zone.First, the paper analyzes the characteristics of regional economy. Regional economy features holistic, complicated, all-around, exoteric and dynamic. According to the real situation of Zhujiang drainage area, we draw the conclusion that it belongs to a special regional economic type-drainage area economy. The paper also analyzes the characteristics of the drainage area economy.Second, in order to analyze the correlation of the shipping and the regional economy, the paper uses quantitative and qualitative methods, including regression model, multiplicator theory, and gray analysis model.Then, from the perspective of qualitative analysis, this article adopts mutual effect theory, exterior effect theory and transportationized theory to explain the relationship between transportation and regional economy. Making it more detailed to the Zhujiang drainage area, the paper reveals the impact of transportation on the Zhujiang drainage area by analyzing the present conditions of the region. And using demonstration, range from industrial distribution, move of population, and natural resources to trade to illustrate the relationship.Finally, from the perspective of qualitative analysis, the paper takes one typical port city— —Jiangmen as an example, using model analysis to work out the correlation of shipping index and economic index.
