Research On Interactive Effect Between Wuhan Yangtze River Shipping Center And Regional Economy

Wuhan is located in the intersection between Yangtze River golden waterway and Beijing-Guangzhou railway,is important city in central China,is the national important industrial base,science and education base and comprehensive transport hub,and is in a significant role of the central region of our country.Wuhan Newport also is an open port with the largest throughput,the most active shipping market and densest shipping elements in the middle reach of Yangtze River.In order to give full play to the Yangtze river water transportation advantage,promoting the construction of Wuhan city circle and the Yangtze river economic belt,Hubei provincial government propose based on the main support of Wuhan Newport,building up Wuhan Yangtze river shipping center.But due to various reasons,the construction of Wuhan Yangtze river shipping center is still in its infancy.Based on the Wuhan Yangtze River shipping center construction major impact on the regional economy,we research on interactive effect between Wuhan Yangtze river shipping center and regional economy.First of all,this paper discusses the connotation of shipping center,according to the shipping center in the middle reach of Yangtze river in Wuhan and Hubei province economic development situation,through the establishment of the linear regression model,analysis complete waterway freight volume in Wuhan?the throughput in Wuhan Newport and GDP?foreign trade volume in Hubei province,then study on interactive effect between Wuhan Yangtze River shipping center and regional economy,at last,offered some relevant suggestions.Through the analysis result,Wuhan Yangtze River shipping center construction can promote the economic development of Hubei province;On the other hand,the economic development of Hubei province also drive the further development of Wuhan Yangtze river shipping center.Therefore,in order to promote the development of the middle reach of Yangtze River should accelerate the construction of Wuhan Yangtze River shipping center;at the same time,we also should speed up the economic development of Hubei province to promote the construction of Wuhan Yangtze River shipping center.This paper research has certain reference significance for the Wuhan Yangtze River shipping center construction and the development of Hubei province economy.
