A Study On The Competence Of Chinese Telecom Operating Companies

This paper examines telecom operating company's competence, analyzes some problems in Chinese telecom operating company by going deep in an orderly manner and accordingly proposes some strategic advice as to Chinese telecom operating companies.This paper is divided into 4 chapters. Chapter 1 focuses on company competence's nature and its theory. Chapter 2 proposes company competence's evaluation index system. Using entropy-weight means on the basis of the evaluation index system already built in chapter 2, chapter 3 analyzes primitive data of Telecom Company's competence to get overall competence index values through calculation, then make comparisons among companies for the purpose of finding common problems consisting in Chinese telecom operating companies. This chapter is a key part in this paper. Given the specialty of our country's telecom operating industry, the last chapter simultaneously studies and analyzes Chinese telecom operating company's competence from macro environment and company's micro environment. Macro level starts from how to improve telecom operating company's competence, mainly describes intervening elements for its efficient competition and its realizing approaches. Micro level mainly points out according solutions namely, strategic choice inside companies in terms of some co-existent competence weak index in Chinese telecom operating companies.
