The world semiconductor market displayed a driving rising trend. Especially the continuing increase in the demand of digital electronics, cell phone and notebook PC in Asia will greatly promote the sale of semiconductor products in these areas. Global distributors are expanding their territory with the North America and Asia Pacific as its center and the whole business is at a stable growing stage. After going out the trough, how can the global distributors grasp the opportunity with strategies to make up losses in the depression years? As business continuously shifting Asia the low cost areas, which new challenges do the distributors face? How should they deal with these challenges to maintain the profits? As a local distributor representative in China's electronic components industry, Mingwell Electronic also faces the same problem. This article summarized some strategy management theories such as industry competitive structure analysis , SWOT analysis and types of enterprise and so on. With these theories and tools and the combination of theories and cases, qualitative and quantitative, the author furthers her study of the competitive trend in the electronic components market and the strategic plan of Mingwell. First, with the application of industry competitive structure analysis tool--Baud's five kinds of strength models, the author analyzes the environment and the market competitive trend in this industry and finds out the opportunity for enterprise's development as well as the potential threats in this industry; the next, after analyzing the developing course, present conditions as well as its prospect of China's electron components field , she further analyzes and summarizes Mingwell's internal factors, with the corporation SWOT analysis identifies the advantages and disadvantages in Mingwell, compares the opportunities and threats and the key problems in its development; finally, the author proposes Mingell's developing strategy: the 4P marketing strategy, competitive strategy, human resource develop strategy, service strategy and supplier's cooperation strategy. This article has theory and reality significance in the method for electron components distributor industry to obtain some space in this more and more competitive world. Meanwhile, in the aspects of maintaining the leading superiority in the business, promotion management and retaining talented people, this article also has noticeable function.
