Study On Investor Satisfaction-Based Evaluation System Of Investment Environment Of Economic-Technological Development Zone In China

Over 21 years, the Economic-Technological Development Zone(EDZ) has become the most attractive, active and potential area in China. And its great success is attributed to ever-improving investment environment. The construction and evaluation of investment environment has become one of the most important works of EDZ. Being influenced by natural resources, economic growth, social and political environment, management level and many other factors, investment environment's essence and appraisement conception has been changing constantly. According to Customer Satisfaction Theory, this paper discusses the evaluation system of investment environment from a new perspective. Firstly it analyzes EDZ's history and summarizes that the emphasis of investment environment construction has been transformed from "hard environment" featured with physical infrastructure to "soft environment" featured with integral service and institution innovation. Secondly taking American Customer Satisfaction Index(ACSI) model for reference, investor satisfaction index model is designed based on the analysis of investor behavior features and factors of investment environment. Then through decomposing the variables involved in the model, an evaluation index system of investment environment is established and a questionnaire is designed on the basis of index system. And finally, two types of measurement methods are discussed. Customer Satisfaction Index model and theory are mostly aimed at specific products and service, and has not been ever used in such sophisticated object as investment environment. This paper applies Customer Satisfaction Theory in appraisement of investment environment, expecting breakthrough in appraisement conception and approach. The evaluation system discussed provides a new appraisement method which can perfect the appraisement methods of investment environment and extend the application field of Customer Satisfaction Theory. This paper is useful for investor and government department to appraise and improve investment environment, and helpful to related research in the future.
