As is requested by authorities and society, nowadays, it is a trend that manufacturingenterprises must organize their core business in a sustainable way whereby environmentalprotection has to be put on a growing priority. Nevertheless, despite the fact that a lot ofmanufacturing enterprises are in lack of the technology and experience requested to treatthe waste generated during the production, moreover, they have to confront tremendousfinancial investment and operational cost. Thus many enterprises are struggling with adilemma-how they can develop their core business fruitfully while dealing with theindustrial waste created in the production properly.At such a circumstance, the concept of Recycling Economy was brought forward.This dissertation attempts to seek for an approach to reconcile the dilemma abovementioned with applying for value development philosophy and methodology, illustratingthe practice with a real case-Marketing on Mycelium-that happened in the company thewriter worked in. Meanwhile, it attempts to show some preliminary but specific referencefor further research and development on Recycling Economy.The content is centralized with the concept of market-based value exploiture. And theprocess starts with detecting and perceiving the value of mycelium, followed by thediscussion on how to commercialize the value into the market. Afterwards, the thesiscomes up with a scenario to transfer and capture the value. In the end a financial analysis ispresented on the operational performance when this entire scheme is implemented.Overall it is an entire campaign to turn the industrial waste-mycelium-into a valuableproduct.
