A Study On Comprehensive Evaluation Of Enterprises Competitiveness

China has become a member of World Trade Organization and the transition period willreach its end soon, the opening extent of Chinese market will be larger. Chinese enterprises willface the competitiveness not only from domestic enterprises but also from more powerfulforeign enterprises, and the degree of competitiveness will be more drastic. If the enterpriseswant to survive and develop in this drastic market, they should know their competitive levelconsciously. At the same time, how to evaluate the enterprises competitiveness is the problemthat should be considered by the investor and the government. So the evaluation of enterprisescompetitiveness has very important realistic meaning. At first, the thesis analyzes the background and the meaning of the study, and presents theway to study. On the basis of the above, the thesis starts with the basic conception of thecompetitiveness and the enterprises competitiveness, and the evaluation of enterprisescompetitiveness is introduced as the subject of the thesis. Simultaneously the internal andexternal factors that affect the enterprises competitiveness are analyzed at length. In the thesis,the domestic and foreign theories and methods of enterprises competitiveness are reviewed.Combined with the actuality of Chinese enterprises competitiveness, the advantage and shortageof the theories and methods are analyzed. In the thesis, the existing evaluation methods areintroduced, and at the end, the factor analysis method is selected as the method to evaluate theChinese enterprises competitiveness by the comparison of the different evaluation methods. Onthe basis of the former experience, the indexes system of enterprises competitiveness with 20indexes, which come from survival ability, sustainable development ability, productive abilityand anti-venture ability, is set up.After setting up the indexes system of enterprises competitiveness and selecting the evaluatingmethod, 16 companies, which come into the market, are selected, in according to the reality ofChinese electronic information industry. The data are got from their annual reports and the indexsystem is used to analyze the enterprises competitiveness. Lastly, depending on the problemsthat exist in the electronic information industry, some countermeasures and suggestions are putforward to improve the competitiveness of Chinese electronic information industry.
