Corn, as the main raw material used in starch and glucose producing enterprises,for which its purchasing-cost account over 60% of the whole enterprise's cost. Besides,the price of corn is fluctuated heavily on various effects such as nation policy, weather,season or anything else. So how to enhance the purchase management on corn to ensureit's reasonable purchasing-price and to control the enterprise's purchasing-cost willbecome the major issue for starch and glucose producing enterprises to face.This article is based on NCPC-KANGXIN CO., LTD., which is one of thesubsidiary companies under NCPC GROUP CORPORATION, taking analysis on theways for starch and glucose producing enterprises to enhance purchase management andto control purchasing-cost on corn. The article can be divided into 6 chapters. In thepreface, Chapter 1, the author take a brief introduction of the Status ofNCPC-KANGXIN CO., LTD., and take a analysis of the status of corn in starch andglucose producing enterprises. By illustrating some relative theories, the author providessome ideas to manage and optimize corn purchase behavior. Chapter 2 is based onNCPC-KANGXIN CO., LTD., taking analysis on the outer environment that starch andglucose producing enterprises using corn as the raw material will have to face and someof the existing problems that inside purchase management system. In Chapter 3 authorbase on the analyses of the purchasing-cost discussing some cost-effect that will affectpurchasing price. After providing the some methods to predict corn price, a yearlypurchasing-cost optimize model is built by applying linear-recursive-method to guideNCPC-KANGXIN CO., LTD. to calculate and analyses the optimum purchasing quality.Chapter 4 aiming at some problems that lied in corn suppliers to discuss themanagement methods of certification and audit. In Chapter 5 author study the futuresfunctions to discuss the possibility for NCPC-KANGXIN CO., LTD. to participate inthe corn futures-exchange to steady the cost, and also, design some plans for it. Chapter6 mainly focuses on the present conditions such as lack of evaluation on purchasingcorn. By establishing a system evaluating corn purchase behavior to make purchasingdepartment and marketing stuff 's attitude more positive. This will ensure thepurchasing-cost at a low level and enhance the enterprise's profitability.The article is a practical application in the theory of purchasing management, itwill make some useful reference to enterprises to enhance their purchasingmanagement.
