An Integration Of Enterprises Information System In The Supply Chains

Currently market competition becomes more and more scorching;it is hard for one company or company group to hold the transient market demands. The market competition between enterprises has become the competition in supply chains. Thus, supply chain management has become the current focus. The essence of supply chain management is goal of the traditional optimizing internal resources to a targeted network resources optimized. Supply chain management stressed inter-firm cooperation. First, it strengthens cooperation of enterprise departments, then forming supply chain network structure including suppliers and end-user (distributors and end-users). In the evolution of modern computer networking technology, especially the development of internet has created favorable conditions for technology for supply chain management.At present, many enterprises are doing or prepare to do information construction;however, the information system between supply chains is isolated, corporations in supply chains can not share information freely, corporations can improve themselves easily, there is no way to enhance the holistic rival ability. If the information system between supply chains can be integrated together to form a piece of information sharing collaborative chain between supply and sales agency, then we can hold the chance better and gain the active status in the market competition. This is research purpose of the paper.In this paper, we present a feasible pattern for enterprises in supply chains who are engaged in integrating information system. At first, it enters on the supply chain management theory, analyses the traditional structure model, kernel management thought and the latest development of supply chain. In particular, we describe the core idea of electronic supply chain management (ESCM) which is the latest technology of supply chain: collaborative commerce, electronic company and business process outsourcing. The background, definition, contents defined by all kinds of authorities and characters of collaborative commerce theory were explained in detail, we point out the latest evolution of collaborative commerce is collaborative supply chain management. What's more, we compared the virtues and shortcomings of different classification of business process outsourcing.Next, this paper introduces the main technology adopted on information system integration: XML, Web services, Agent and these technologies application in the of information system integration.Then, this paper analyses from the relevant concepts of system integration, enterprise information systems integration strategies in supply chain and methods ofenterprise information systems integration, presented information integrated supply chain between enterprises and implementation of a model of the real success cases seeking corroboration.Finally, we summarize the essentials in information system integrating of supply chain and describe the research problem in future work.
