The Design For Logistics And Supply Chain Outsourcing Of Company A Based On 4PL

As the reforming and opening going on, more and more multi-national companies have been entering China. They brought not only large investment, technology but the modern project management method, which is most important to China. As the globalizing of the economy, people who are running a company have to face more and more complex competitive market and get more and more pressure of survival. They have to constantly renewing products, refreshing the technology and creating the new management method. In many companies, the non-core business is going to be outsourced. They have moved the HR management, Finance, IT and manufacturing to the outsourcees like China and India. Now the Supply Chain Management Outsourcing is coming into China. This is a new strategy of outsourcing. The Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) as a symbol of new theory will provide us a new integrated outsourcing method to the growing supply chain outsourcing market of China.I will use company A as a study sample, who is going to introduce supply chain outsourcing based on 4PL to optimize its current supply chain running method, on the basis of the analysis of their current supply chain problems and utilization of 4PL supply chain outsourcing, this paper will design the process of company A's material flow, and the subsequent competitive advantages and possible issues. The main content include: the basic 4PL and outsourcing theory; the introduction of current supply chain process flow and outsourcing decision making; the design for the supply chain based on 4PL and finally put up the summary and outlook for the supply chain outsourcing based on 4PL. Through the design, it will study the application and meaning of the usage of 4PL in multination electronic manufacturers and provide a new way of thought for supply chain managers. It will give manufacturer a new supply chain strategy, which is to increase core competitive ability through business outsourcing. It will show a possible practicing method for the modern, informational, globalized business field split. It will also provide some practicing experience for growing supply chain outsourcing based on 4PL.
